Inside Larry & Sergey's Brain

Every weekend I always  going to bookstore to find some books to read, I always buy book at least 2 kind of book.

when I walked through the categories of motivational books, I stopped for a moment and look at some of the titles are interesting to read, my eyes fixed on a book titled "Inside Larry & sergeey's Brain". It turns out that this book is a translation of an article written by Richard L. Brandt.

This book seems interesting, then so be it I buy it. Have not had time to read but saw some pieces of the contents of this book seems to be interesting. as follows (I write in Indonesian because this book is translated back into Indonesian)

Mimpi yang dibayangkan dua puluh lima tahun yang lalu belum tercapai. Sampai perangkat lunak menjadi alat paling canggih untuk kolaborasi, produktivitas, dan efisiensi, pekerjaan ini belum juga selesai. Dan, tidak ada yang lebih menyenangkan dari mengerjakan pekerjaan tersebut.

Beberapa mengatakan bahwa Google adalah Tuhan. Lainnya berkata bahwa Google adalah setan. Tetapi jika mereka berpikir bahwa Google memiliki kekuatan yang terlalu besar, ingatlah bahwa dengan mesin pencari, berbeda dengan perusahaan lain, hanya yang diperlukan satu klik untuk berpindah ke mesin pencari lainnya.

This book tells the story of the beginning of the founding of Google, how Larry and Sergey started something of a very simple thought. They both wanted to create something that can make people easy in life, starting with a search engine.

Not only contains about struggles in technical terms, but also contains a recording of the fight against software giants such as Microsoft, Yahoo and other dotcom companies. Their struggle to find investors also tell in this book.

I strongly recommend to read this book, because it is great for motivating. Because the goal is not only in money but what we make can be very useful for many people and make life easy.

respecting other

when we not agree with someone or somepeople don't blame their mistakes but give respect by advice.
blaming isn't solution but advice will stimulate good solution.
each people have different taste, different point of view but some of them have same purpose to get the best result.
respecting other is the key of group survival.

Sebuah Keinginan dan Tekad

Aku ingin menjadi dokter, keluar dari mulut seorang anak yang masih polos dengan mata yang berbinar disambut dengan doa dari kedua orang tua yang selalu menyayanginya. Tetapi seiring dengan tumbuhnya kedewasaan dan pengaruh lingkungan serta interaksi sosial akan sangat mempengaruhi impian dan keinginan seseorang, yang dulunya bercita cita jadi dokter bisa saja tumbuh dan akhirnya tidak menjadi dokter tetapi menjadi sosok lain yang berbeda. Karena seseorang pasti tau mana profesi yang cocok dan tepat untuk dirinya karena yang mampu mengukur dari kemampuan seseorang hanyalah dirinya sendiri.
Keinginan? Tekad? inilah yang menjadi kunci sukses dari seseorang, seseorang yang mempunyai keinginan harus mempunyai tekad yang kuat sebagai sarana pendukung untuk meraih apa yang dia inginkan, karena keinginan dan tekad adalah satu paket yang tidak bisa dipisahkan. Keinginan tanpa tekad hanya menghasilkan seorang pemimpi yang hanya bisa berandai andai sebaliknya tekad tanpa keinginan hanya akan membuat orang lepas kendali menjalani hidup tanpa tujuan.
Orang yang mempunyai keinginan dan tekad pasti mengahasilkan sesuatu yang wah dan bermanfaat bagi banyak orang banyak karena dalam mencapai keinginannya tidak hanya berfokus pada hal hal yang bersifat pribadi tetapi juga peka terhadap lingkungan sekitar dan sanggup berubah menjadi lebih baik dengan merubah kritik kritik dari luar menjadi sebuah motivasi yang baru sehingga memperkuat tekad untuk mencapai keinginan menjadi lebih baik. Ambil contoh dari dalam negeri bagaimana sejarah Maspion hingga menjadi perusahaan yang besar, sedang dari luar Negeri siapa yang tidak kenal dengan Microsoft, Google, Apple, Facebook, Pixar, Red Hat, Linux Foundation, GNU Foundation dan masih banyak lagi contoh yang itu semua dimulai dari sebuah keinginan dan tekad yang kuat.
Siap yang tidak mau sukses? siapa yang tidak mau kaya? siapa yang tidak mau hidup nyaman dan aman? semua orang menginginkan itu dan memimpikan semua itu tetapi mimpi saja tidak cukup harus dibarengi dengan tekad yang kuat tanpa mengenal lelah dan yang paling penting adalah doa yang tulus dan sungguh sungguh disaat dalam kondisi yang baik maupun buruk.

karena aku juga ingin sukses, kaya, bermanfaat untuk orang lain dan juga hidup nyaman dan tentram

Need to change

Merasa bosan dengan rutinitas yang mungkin tidak sesuai dengan apa yang ku inginkan itu bikin capek. Tidak hanya capek pikiran tapi juga capek badan, aku ingin membuat sebuah perubahan dalam diriku karena aku lebih suka "main" dan ngoprek system, integrasi sistem dan embedded system.
Pengen bikin router os or whatever yang bisa berkompetisi dengan vendor besar *ngimpi mode on* dengan segala keterbatasan ini. Meski harus meluangkan sedikit waktu untuk ngerjain hobby disamping main kerjaan sekarang yang menguras banyak waktu dan pikiran, tapi bukan berarti pekerjaan sekarang tidak menyenangkan..karena aku senang bekerja dibidang ini tapi memang ada saat2 dimana ingin meluangkan waktu untuk hobby ngoprek system kernel, mainan embedded system bisa bejalan dan ga tersendat.
Tapi fokus di kerjaan itu lebih penting soalnya menyangkut siklus hidup banyak individu dan ditutut untuk bisa menhargai pendapat dan inovasi individu disekitar biar kondisi kerjaan tetep kondusif dan enjoy.
Tapi aku yakin suatu saat nanti bisa buat perubahan buat banyak orang meskipun ga secara langsung.

Time is always running forward

We will never know what happen in the future. What will be happen? is it friend with us or the opposite? we will never know.
But we can make different for the future, all we done will effect to the future. Both for us or for generally other people.
As I know that, hard work and pray to GOD will make all easy to done and make better thing for the future.

Last Day at Office

Tomorrow Dec 22 2011 is my last day at my office, btw I worked for famous game developer from France as game programmer at beginning and now I'm to be Project Programmer Lead, but there is no big deal about salary compare with my responsibility.
 Why I can say there is no big deal ? because I must handle project to porting to many device with schedule that not make sense for normal project, and don't blame creation team if they are delay the project because of to many revision from head quarter or from partnership and at the end our team as massport team will got the impact from delayed project without new time span on schedule, this will impact to our massport team.
What the impact if delayed ? we must do novertime job (novertime = do over time job without pay), lot of pressure, lot of thing will be blame to us.
That is why I make decision to resigning from this company, not just me but other people is have same problem on our massport team :) in the end it will be to many turn over people in this company :D.
Tomorrow I'll say good by to my team it's very sadly because I love work with them but I don't like the company act to us, I mean to employee.

raining in the morning

I feel so cold this morning because big rain already come one hour ago but I still can’t sleep and I saw the clock on my laptop and it tell me now is 03.20AM you must go sleep!. Sorry but I can’t sleep because I am not sleepy my laptop and I am sorry about this the consequence you must in my side to got my job and my learning about binary thing to be done (but in depth of my heart say that this is never end, because binary thing will running and always running to replace deprecated older binary thing. Will reload and reload).
My finger still typing and create some code but I need some time to wait download some library and source for smartphone development until done so I open web browser and open some tab about new thing in binary technology. Too many changes and too rapid I can’t follow this binary movement in normal condition, I need to push my brain and my physic to be a good combination so I can catch up the binary flow movement but human brain always running faster thanks to Allah give us hyper processor on our brain. The last thing is the binary radical movement never beat human brain movement.
